FOSM invited to exhibit at Smith Center for One Book One Community Read

  • One Book One Community:  A Walk in the Woods (and Fields and Mountains) Exhibit in the History Gallery at the R.R. Smith Center for History & Art, 20 S. New Street, Staunton. This exhibit includes historic photographs of people engaged in outdoor activities from the 1890s-1940s, with scenes from Goshen Pass, Sherando Lake, and the Crozet Tunnel. Botanical and nature artwork and photographs are also presented. Finally, there are portable exhibits from the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club, Virginia Native Plant Society, and Friends of  Shenandoah Mountain. Open daily. Call 886-8755 for more information.  The exhibit will be up from March 1 - May 31.
